Paranormal Investigator Warns Famous Haunted House's New Owners

By Alec Fernandes

Paranormal Investigator Philip Siracusa has voiced serious concerns following the sale of a property once owned by occult researchers Ed and Lorraine Warren. In an interview with TMZ, he claimed that comedian Matt Rife and YouTuber Elton Castee may be putting themselves—and others—in grave danger. Siracusa believes there are dark forces tied to the Warren home that's now also an occult museum, and he's convinced that Rife and Castee have been "chosen" by the house for a sinister reason.

Siracusa also expressed alarm over plans to open the Monroe, Connecticut location to public overnight stays, warning that exposing visitors to such a potent "dark force" could have dangerous consequences. "People are going to get hurt," he cautioned, calling the idea "a recipe for disaster." Echoing these concerns, Chris McKinnell, the grandson of Ed and Lorraine Warren, said that the space was designed as a "controlled environment" for education, spiritual research, and protection. McKinnell urged the new owners to seek guidance from paranormal experts and to handle the museum's artifacts responsibly, stressing that "we're dealing with forces we don't fully understand."

Among the artifacts is the notorious Annabelle doll, which was with Dan Rivera when he died suddenly last month after a Pennsylvania event. McKinnell had been warning about the dangers of traveling with Annabelle for weeks prior to Rivera's passing. In light of this, Rife has pledged to "take care of this property and the artifacts within the museum with the utmost care."
