Watch: LA News Chopper Films UFO Above Wildfires

As the ongoing wildfires tear across Los Angeles, one news station's aerial footage captured something strange.

A local FOX affiliate's helicopter was hovering above the disaster when it filmed an oddly shaped craft darting across the sky. In the video above, set to play right before the sighting, a small white dot that's presumably a plane moves across the lower part of the shot. Then, at roughly the 9:03:45 timestamp, an elongated gray object zips past the top of the frame.

A UFO enthusiast shared the video clip in this Reddit post where users were quick to propose multiple theories about the craft, including it being another airplane, a drone, or evidence of extraterrestrials. It's possible for a plane's fast movement to blur out its wings on camera, yet many are convinced the object is a flying saucer.
