"I was a skeptic," Fugal admitted. He shared that before purchasing the property nine years ago, he believed "any reports of strange activity... had a natural explanation." Yet, his view shifted dramatically after observing events first-hand.

He recounted how experiences at the ranch have fundamentally shifted his perceptions of reality, with reported incidents ranging from UFO sightings to mysterious "dire wolf-like creatures." Fugal noted, "There seems to be a convergence on this property… the veil between this reality and other worlds… appears to be thin."

Fugal expressed concern over the darker elements associated with the ranch, including what some have termed the "hitchhiker effect," where bizarre occurrences follow individuals home and cause distress. "It's not for the faint of heart," he commented.

The conversation also touched on the interest from government entities, with Fugal revealing that the ranch is under constant military surveillance. "We've seen unmarked Black Hawk helicopters… military assets that are being deployed while we document the phenomena," he said.

Fugal described how the ranch has become a "two-edged sword," opening doors to new connections with influential figures while exposing him to criticism and skepticism from some in the business community, where discussions of the paranormal are often frowned upon.

Fugal hinted at potential revelations from upcoming episodes of his History Channel docuseries The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch. He assured listeners, "You're going to find it validating… it's shocking."

In the second half, MUFON's chief photo and video analyst Marc D'Antonio spoke about his work identifying astronomical anomalies. D'Antonio highlighted the importance of careful analysis when approaching claims of unidentified flying objects. He emphasized the high volume of submissions he receives, noting, "On average, I probably get around 8-10 cases a week sent directly to me."

D'Antonio explained that many people often misidentify common aerial phenomena, underscoring the need for understanding what constitutes a UFO. "There's no dumb questions. People are just seeking answers, and I absolutely admire that," he stated. According to him, "90-95% of UFO reports turn out to be misidentifications," underlining that the intent behind these submissions is usually genuine curiosity rather than deceit.

D'Antonio shared that many sightings are often actually Starlink satellite trains, bugs flying near the camera, or simply reflections. "A bug flying close by the camera can look like a dash. You know, we have to discern between the mundane and the extraordinary," he remarked.

He told listeners how his work utilizes advanced technological tools. "I have 300 plus different filters that I can run on a video to see what's going on," he mentioned. This is complemented by a team approach within MUFON, where independent assessments are made by the group's members who then come to a consensus.

D'Antonio didn't deny the existence of hoaxes, elaborating that "whenever money gets involved, people seem to go crazy." As technology continues to evolve, he believes artificial intelligence will complicate the landscape of UFO reporting. "AI does give itself away, but I can't share exactly how because I don't want to give hoaxers a significant edge," he stated. "The more common imaging technology becomes, the more likely we will see advancements in both hoaxing and genuine captures."
